One Less Thing  was founded  in 2008 by a woman who realized that the demands of a career, family, and personal needs can be overwhelming. With her network of reliable professionals she enjoys helping others find a balance in their lives. Though most of her clientele is local, through the use of modern technology, she is able to offer her services to a vast population including the Expat community.

Karen's expertise and knowledge is backed by a diverse career path in business management, overseas shipping and communication, consultation, marketing, real estate brokerage, and finance. These combined experiences all contribute to her success as a professional organizer and personal assistant. She has custom designed organizing systems and solutions for paperwork, time management and clutter for both residential and business clients. 

She sees several clients on an ongoing basis, helping them maintain and optimize time saving techniques. Karen enjoys the process of tackling challenges, overcoming obstacles, and providing organization and direction. 

Her "Can Do" attitude has helped many of her overwhelmed clients get through their "To Do" (or "Don't Want To Do") list.

She resides in Red Hook, NY with her family and is a community advocate for many organizations.
